What is sterling silver, and why 925?
Every DYSKINESIAA piece is cast in 925 sterling silver. 92.5 % pure silver alloyed with 7.5 % copper for strength. This is the standard used in fine jewellery, and is hallmarked accordingly. We do not work in plated or filled metals, ever.
How long does my order take?
Every piece is made to order in the Paris atelier. The crafting process takes approximately two to four weeks from order confirmation. Once finished, orders ship via Colissimo or Mondial Relay. Delivery usually arrives within five to ten days depending on your location. Total : roughly three to six weeks door-to-door.
Where are the pieces made?
Designed and cast in our atelier in Ivry-sur-Seine, Paris. From 3D design to lost-wax casting and hand-finishing, every step happens locally in very limited batches. No factories. No overproduction.
What is the Bespoke Finger Impression?
A custom ring cast from the impression of your own finger. We send you a moulding kit. You capture the form at home. You return it to Paris. Your imprint is then transformed into a solid 925 silver piece, made only for you. Limited to fifty commissions per year. Start your bespoke piece.
How do I find my ring or cuff size?
The size guide covers rings, cuffs, and the bespoke moulding kit measurements. View the size guide. If you are between two sizes, write to us before ordering. Sizing can be adjusted before casting.
Can a piece be personalised or engraved?
Engraving is offered on select pieces. Send your request to contact@dyskinesiaa.com with the piece, the inscription, and the placement. Personalised commissions outside the catalogue are handled case by case through the bespoke channel.
Can I return or exchange?
Returns and exchanges are accepted within fourteen days of receipt for standard catalogue pieces. Bespoke and personalised commissions are final sale. Full conditions in our Shipping & Returns policy.
Do you ship internationally? What about duties?
Yes, we ship worldwide. For European Union orders, prices are inclusive of VAT. Outside the EU, local duties and import taxes may apply on arrival and are the responsibility of the recipient. Free shipping on orders above 350 €.
How do I take care of sterling silver?
Sterling silver tarnishes slowly when exposed to air, moisture, and skin oils. That patina is part of the material’s life. To restore the original shine, polish gently with a soft silver cloth. Avoid contact with perfume, swimming pools, and the sea. Store in the FSC-certified pouch provided with your order.
Can I visit the Paris atelier?
Private appointments are available in Ivry-sur-Seine on request. Book an appointment or write to contact@dyskinesiaa.com with your dates.
How can I propose a placement or editorial loan?
For stylists, music video productions, magazine editors, and editorial loan requests, write to contact@dyskinesiaa.com with the project details, dates, and references. Each piece is loaned individually and returned within fourteen days of the shoot.
