Archive and resale program
DYSKINESIAA produces strictly made-to-order, with no inventory. Over time, however, certain pieces leave the active catalogue: retired forms from earlier collections, one-off prototypes cast during development, editorial samples returned to the atelier, and pieces traded back by collectors. The Archive and Resale program is the channel through which a small number of these objects find a second wearer.
How it works
The program operates on a waitlist basis. Interested collectors register their preferences with the studio, including the type of piece, the size range if relevant, and a short note about what they are looking for. When a matching piece becomes available, the studio reaches out directly. There is no public archive listing.
Three categories of pieces flow through the program.
- Retired editions. Pieces from earlier DYSKINESIAA chapters that are no longer offered as made-to-order. When a client returns one of these for credit, it can be re-released through the archive channel.
- One-off prototypes. Studio prototypes cast during the development of new forms. These are by definition unrepeatable and carry small differences from the final production version.
- Trade-in returns. Pieces returned by their original wearer in exchange for credit toward a new commission or catalogue order.
Trade-in
Existing DYSKINESIAA wearers can trade in any signed piece toward credit on a new order. The studio receives the piece at the Paris atelier, inspects the signature and the casting, refurbishes the surface, re-polishes or re-oxidizes as needed, and re-signs where the original signature has been worn down. Credit is offered on the basis of original retail value, current condition, and current desirability of the form. The studio quotes the credit before the trade is finalized.
Refurbishment
Every piece that re-enters the program is refurbished in the atelier before being offered to a new wearer. The standard cycle includes ultrasonic cleaning, hand-polishing or hand-oxidation depending on the original finish, replacement of any leather or resin components that have aged, and re-stamping of the DYSKINESIAA signature. The piece leaves the atelier in wearable, fully restored condition.
Current status
The Archive and Resale program is currently waitlist-only. New entries are not posted publicly and circulation depends on the rhythm of trade-ins and prototype releases from the studio. Some quarters carry several available pieces. Other quarters carry none. The studio does not push the channel.

Include any sizing or wearer details that would help the studio match you to a future archive release. The studio replies personally and keeps the waitlist small.
