Every DYSKINESIAA piece goes through the same path. From the first idea on paper to the finished object in your hand. From the first sketch to the final shipping, every step happens in the same studio.

01. CONCEPT

Each collection starts as an idea. A concept, a question, an anatomical reference, a gesture. i ask myself what do i want to talk about and how to translate that in fashion.

The first work happens away from any tool. Notes, sketches, references. What the collection is about, what it should feel like, what it should do on the body.

02. PROTOTYPING

Every piece begins as a form before it becomes jewelry.

The first stage is built through 3D sculpting, volume research, resin tests, and physical adjustments. The object is not designed only to look right on screen. It has to work on the body, in the hand, around a finger, against the skin.

Some shapes are printed, corrected, printed again. Edges are changed. Thicknesses are adjusted. The balance between weight, comfort, and presence is refined until the piece starts to feel alive as an object.

This stage can take days or weeks, depending on the complexity of the piece. It ends only when the form feels strong enough to become silver.

03. LOST-WAX CASTING

Once the final prototype is ready, the piece is prepared for lost-wax casting.

The form is translated into wax, then placed inside a plaster mould. During the casting process, the wax disappears, leaving an empty space inside the mould. Molten 925 sterling silver is then poured into that cavity.

After cooling, the plaster is broken away to reveal the raw silver piece.

At this stage, the object exists, but it is not finished. It still carries marks from the casting process, traces of transformation, rough surfaces, and excess metal that need to be reworked by hand.

 

04. HAND FINISHING

The final surface is built by hand.

Each raw casting is filed, sanded, cleaned, corrected, and finished in the studio. This is where the piece gains its final character. The process is not about making the silver look perfectly industrial. It is about controlling what stays raw, what becomes sharp, what catches the light, and what remains darker inside the texture.

DYSKINESIAA finishes often keep a sense of depth and irregularity. Oxidized details, darker recesses, polished highlights, brushed areas, and sculptural surfaces are worked together to make the piece feel organic, worn, and almost extracted rather than simply manufactured.

No two surfaces react exactly the same. The finishing becomes part of the identity of the piece, and part of what makes the work recognizable.

 

05. SHIPPED FROM PARIS

DYSKINESIAA pieces are not stored in a warehouse or sent from a fulfillment center.

Each order leaves from the studio in Paris, after being finished, handled, and prepared one by one. The last step is not only about packing the piece, but about making sure it leaves the studio in the right condition, with the same attention given to its making.

From the first 3D file to the final shipment, the piece stays part of the same process: designed, produced, finished, packed, and sent with care.

WHY IT TAKES 3 TO 4 WEEKS

Because the piece doesn't exist until you order it.
