BESPOKE TERMS

1. Shipping of the Impression Kit

The Impression Kit is shipped from France, and the shipping fees for delivering it to the client are charged at checkout. Delivery times vary depending on the destination and the chosen carrier. Once the kit has been received, the client is responsible for returning their imprint to the studio. The return must be paid by the client, and a tracked shipping method is strongly recommended. DYSKINESIAA cannot be held responsible for delays, losses or damage occurring during return shipping.

2. Validity of the Imprint

Once the imprint arrives at the studio, it will be checked to ensure that it is complete, stable and usable. If the imprint is incorrect, distorted or incomplete, DYSKINESIAA will provide a replacement kit free of charge. However, the shipping fees for sending the replacement kit remain the client’s responsibility. The client must also ensure that the mould is properly packaged before returning it, as damage caused during transit or poor packaging can invalidate the imprint and require a new kit.

3. Production Timeline

Production begins only after a valid imprint has been received and confirmed. The average production timeframe is between ten and twenty business days. This timeline may vary depending on the complexity of the design, workload in the studio and material availability. Certain pieces may require additional time, especially those involving advanced shaping or technical adjustments.

4. Refunds and Cancellations

Because bespoke pieces are created uniquely from your fingerprint and cannot be reused or modified for another person, they are not eligible for refunds once production has begun. Cancellations are accepted only before the imprint is validated by the studio. After this point, the creation process is considered irreversible, and no refund or modification can be made without additional cost.

5. Creative Direction

Each bespoke piece is shaped based on the client’s imprint, preferences and the artistic identity of DYSKINESIAA. The final design may vary slightly from early discussions, as every piece is individually sculpted and refined by hand. Natural variations in form, texture and volume are part of the handmade process and are considered a normal characteristic of bespoke craftsmanship.

6. Use and Storage of the Imprint

By submitting your imprint, you agree that it may be used exclusively for the creation of your bespoke piece. It may be stored temporarily during production and reused for internal adjustments if necessary. Unless requested otherwise, the imprint may be safely discarded after the piece is completed. It will never be shared, scanned for external purposes or used for any other project.

7. In-Studio Appointments

Clients who choose to take their imprint at the studio must book an appointment in advance. Arriving significantly late may require the session to be rescheduled. The appointment includes the fingerprint session, project discussion and initial creative exploration. No physical pieces are taken home during the appointment unless explicitly agreed beforehand.

8. Payment Terms and Additional Fees

Payment for the bespoke piece is made at the beginning of the project. The Impression Kit, if required, is billed separately. Any substantial change in design requested after production has started may incur additional costs. International clients are responsible for any customs duties, taxes or import fees related to returning their imprint or receiving their finished piece.

9. Agreement

By ordering a bespoke piece or requesting an Impression Kit, the client confirms that they have read, understood and agreed to all conditions detailed above.
